NO COMPLY STUDIO
We work with collaborators across art, architecture, and urban strategy to prototype new ways of engaging public space. We believe in making cool ideas happen quickly so cities can test, innovate, and design for the future.
WELCOME TO SKATETOWN

These spaces organically attract visitors with no programming needed.
FLYPDX: WELCOME TO SKATETOWN
You’ve just landed in Portland, a premier global skate destination. The airport terminal is a street skater’s dream: baggage carousel ledges, stair sets and rails, and modular airplane features built for movement. Materials are inspired by PDX’s iconic new design, with natural timber and Pacific Northwest greenery creating a unique and welcoming skate and play experience.
BRIDGE CITY: PAST MEETS FUTURE
Inspired by the first-ever DIY skatepark built under the Burnside Bridge and the future Steel Bridge Skatepark, this installation celebrates the history and future of SKATETOWN USA. Materials mimic the DIY concrete of 1990 and the materials of 2025 in a seamless and one-of-kind way: you’re literally skating from the past to the future.
OREGON MUSEUM OF SKATE AND INDUSTRY
Where skateboarding meets science. This installation pulls from Newtonian mechanics, waveforms, and geometric surfaces to create ramps, bowls, and transitions that demonstrate physics in real time. Designed in collaboration with educators and artists, it doubles as an interactive exhibit and skateable play zone.
EVENTS AND SPONSORSHIPS
Portland is now positioned as a national and global landmark city for skateboarding. We work with brands like Nike, Adidas, Vans, Red Bull to design artistic collaborations and host invitational events that are creative, one-of-a-kind, the opposite of corporate - something that only Portland can offer.
